Jill Anderson, Ph.D.

Although I had a long career in the sciences, earning a PhD (University of Cincinnati) in auditory neuroscience and working as a research assistant professor in Academia, my real passion has always been the creative arts.  I was formally trained in stained glass construction over 25 years ago and continued to explore and grow my glass skills since that time through formal coursework and experimentation. My current glass creations also include kiln-formed (fused) glass art, especially glass jewelry and home decor (mostly bowls and plates).

My passion for working with glass and my desire to return to my Southern roots led me to leave my academic career in 2017 and follow my heart to be “back home” creating beautiful glass art in “Sweet Home Alabama.”
